Dong Nhan is dedicated to delivering exceptional quality; customers can enjoy the brand’s tea with multiple benefits, ranging from health to a rich experience with the quintessence of ancient tea artistry. As the brand was established in Vietnam, Dong Nhan showed a profound aspiration to approach Vietnamese people whose traditional culture also takes pride in the art of tea drinking.
Target: The Art of Tea and Humanity
“Dong Nhan” is named after unity among people, the togetherness that creates the foundation for a successful brand. This belief is no different than the implications of the Tea Ceremony – when people gather to share tea, they build more than just conversations – they foster meaningful connections, trust, solidarity, and a shared experience that transforms into collective success. Seeing the parallel between the brand’s vision and the philosophical aspect of tea-drinking culture, Favor partnered with Dong Nhan to translate their belief into a compelling visual identity, adding a touch to help highlight the enchanting essence of the Tea Ceremony, reinforcing togetherness, while forging the brand’s connection with the Vietnamese community.
Visual Approach: A symbol that speaks millions
Inspired by the elegant beauty of Vietnamese áo dài, the logo features a stylized figure seated in the traditional attire. At its heart lies the Chinese character 仝 (tóng), representing togetherness, while 人 (rén), symbolizing the individual, is delicately interwoven into the flowing sleeves. These subtle details go beyond simply illustrating the character rén uplifting character tóng; they convey a deeper meaning of the Tea Ceremony—when people come together, they create a warm and intimate tea-drinking atmosphere. Such a harmonious blend of characters helps establish the brand’s focus on fostering a connection among individuals. To complete the logo at its finest, the warm embrace of beige and brown hues, complemented by a classic serif typeface, was also selected meticulously to evoke a sense of timeless tradition and honor the refined Tea Ceremony in Vietnam.
